Omaid Ghayyur is a dynamic IT professional, university lecturer, and current PhD Scholar in Computer Science with over 8 years of blended experience across academia and the software industry.
He currently serves as a Lecturer at Iqra University (Islamabad H9 Campus) and previously spent several years lecturing at the Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST). Throughout his academic career, he has taught a wide array of core technical courses—including Web & Mobile Application Development, Data Structures, Introduction to Programming, and Graph Algorithms—while actively supervising high-achieving Final Year Projects spanning IoT, Flutter, and React Native applications.
Prior to his full-time dedication to academia, Omaid served as a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) & SQA Team Lead at Techno Keet Pvt. Ltd., alongside holding various Quality Assurance and Business Analyst roles within the software industry.
Omaid holds an MS in Computer Science (CGPA 3.91) and a BS in Bioinformatics (CGPA 3.81), both accompanied by prestigious Silver and Bronze Academic Medals. He has also functioned as a key resource person, conducting numerous specialized workshops on LaTeX, SPSS Data Visualization, and Automated Software Testing for faculty and students alike.
